You would join us as part of a specialized platform team dedicated to building and maintaining internal testing and development tools, in close collaboration with other stream-aligned development teams. Each stream-aligned team is cross functional and follows an agile process - we practice TDD, pair programming and CI with continuous deployment.
As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will design, develop, maintain and execute automated tests and developer tools, to successfully deliver high-quality software products. You will be exposed to complex technological challenges, having the opportunity to provide key-contribution to solve them.
Responsibilities:
- Promote automation and test-driven culture, being involved in the development process since the early design phase.
- Build and deploy automations, including test frameworks that integrate with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines or Jenkins, targeting Selenium test nodes and remote device farms.
- Identify gaps in existing test coverage in pursuit of a 100% automated testing goal.
- Work with cross functional teams & stakeholders to deliver quality assurance at speed.
- Maintain internal developer tools and demo apps, needed for both testing and internal demoing purposes.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and deep understanding of automation and testing strategies and processes, with experience in defining and executing end-to-end automated tests.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, Java/Kotlin, Swift.
- Experience using testing tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, Cypress, as well as testing runners such as Junit, Jest, PyUnit.
- Experience with automation and testing on mobile environments (Android/ iOS).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments and related services such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related disciplines is considered a plus.
- Fluency in English.
